HITS!!!
Spectacle Island, Boston Harbor, MA
Too cool to see comments from Havanaman!
I had lost hope, but I suppose hopelessness has its rewards.
I have been known to drink on a roof or two, but it's been a while.
Thanks for the comments. Good luck with your inflatable, it sounds like a fun project. You won't need to register it in most US states until you power it. I suppose it won't look too much like a homebuilt, but you may find someone to sell you a destroyed but titled inflatable for short or no money to creatively title your new aquisition. (Pirates have little concern for rules without merit.)

dire tidings...
Though his blog has only been open through what could never be considered ideal sailing weather, I'm dissapointed none the less that there has been no response other than my own...

Where have all the pirates gone
I've been drifting about the waters of Massachusetts and Rhode Island off and on for about twenty years. I've sailed sailboats, paddled kayaks and canoes and even noisily stunk about in the ocasional power boat (pardon the biassed wording...or don't, whatever).
Throughout my travels I've run into (figuratively for the most part) plenty of mariners. I have not found many with my outlook on boating (probably this is for the best). This I hope to change. I encourage anyone with an over developped sense of adventure and under developed sense of responsibility to post comments and links here. It would be nice to plan some sort of event or just exchange ideas about such things as:
out of the way anchorages where a vagabond such as myself could drop hook on a weekend without running into pain in the bum harbour masters and the like wanting to check fire extinguishers on sailboats or some other such inconvenience.
launch areas with neither lines and parking problems nor fees
mischevious plans and/or ideas
reports of mischief and harmless high spirits
I just want to see if there are any other ragged sailors out there or if I am really alone!
